How long has Fulton County Council on Aging been serving Fulton County?

Fulton county Council on Aging was started in 1974, making this our 50th year!

What types of social/recreational programs do you offer?

We have Bingo, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday – Euchre and Dominoes is on Tuesdays - Bridge is on Thursday - Chair Volley Ball is Monday, Wednesday and Friday - Chair Yoga is Thursday mornings - Craft classes are Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays!

Introduce us to some of your staff:

Our staff is Rusty Moore, Transportation Supervisor (Transpo), Lisa Byers (Activities and AR/AP Payroll), Mona Elsea (Activities), Kathy Stephens-Hawke (Crafting Director), and myself Doug Beller (Executive Director).

How does Fulton County Council on Aging stay involved in the community?

We stay involved in the community through Transpo, which runs Monday thru Friday 7am to 5pm. We offer live entertainment on occasions, serve lunch Monday thru Friday (supplied by Area Five Agency). All of our activities are open to the public!

Can community members get involved/volunteer at the center?

We are always looking for volunteers to help at the front desk and other activities throughout the week. Give us a call for more info!
